Note: Doctor
diagnosed me with a "severe sore throat" or, in short, an infection.
The meds they gave me should mend me up completely in ten days but I
should see some difference before Friday's Weekly Racing Show at
Scotia Speedworld and Saturday nights romp at Oyster Bed Speedway.
Here's hoping!

BUSY STRETCH OF SUMMER AHEAD
The last four weekends have been pretty hectic.
Those four weekends have taken me to five tracks in
three different provinces for eight race events to see many different
racing divisions and tours - and I wouldn't have it any other way!
There will be another Tim's Corner coming up later in
the week to add it all up but looking forward there is a big stretch
of Pro Stock racing coming up. Starting next weekend with the IWK 250
Presented by Steve Lewis Auto Body we are on Tour for six consecutive
weeks - taking us to Riverside International twice, Scotia Speedworld
twice and to Speedway 660 and Oyster Bed Speedway once a piece. Who
knows, I may end up somewhere else between there as well!
Once again, check the site late in the week for
another Tim's Corner!
Until then, keep the hammer down and we'll see you at the traaaaaack!

Issue Four is now live. Read about the weekend I had at Speedway

OFF WEEKEND FOR
SCOTIA SPEEDWORLD, WHAT TO DO?
If you're like
me, the first two Weekly Racing Series shows at Scotia Speedworld just
lightly wet your whistle for what is to come this summer across the
Maritimes. Speaking of wet, after the soggy Saturday we experienced as
the CARQUEST Pro Stock Tour attempted to lift the lid on the season,
it makes the wait for the now season opener at Riverside in two week
an eternity. For those feeling the same way and want to see and hear
some of the best Pro Stock/Super Late Model drivers go
fender-to-fender, Speedway 660 is the place to be this weekend. The
Pro All Stars Series is making their one and only stop in Canada on
Saturday in the Geary woods for a two-hundred lap event, one that you
should not miss if you are in the Capital region this weekend! With
the Clarks, Ben Rowe, Kelly Moore, Adam Bates and leading rookie Joey
Doiron already pre-entered among others from stateside, it will make
for one fantastic show.
If you can't make
it up there, by all means drop into Scotia Speedworld to take in
another form of American racing - the USHRA Monster Jam Tour. The
monsters, which include multi-time champ Grave Digger with Randy Brown
at the helm are at the Speedworld oval for two shows on Saturday and
one on Sunday. For more ticket info, visit ScotiaSpeedworld.ca or
TicketAtlantic.com. Reminder: keep your Monster Jam stub - it will
allow you to enter the grandstands on June 18th for the Weekly Racing
Show for $5!
Also, watch for
issue three of Tim's "Sim" Corner coming up late Wednesday. We'll take
a look at TT Racing League's show from Sunday night on RLMtv as well
as the IFRT Pro Cup romp at Charlotte. Tim's Corner for Scotia
Speedworld and the Maritime Pro Stock Tour can be found at their
respective websites or by clicking on the Tim's Corner link in the
menu!
I am also adding
my collection of cards to the links on the left as well. I tracked
down a Darrell Waltrip Legends autograph to add to my PC along with an
Aric Almirola 1/1 Press Plate! Look for those to be added shortly!
That's all for
now! Until next time, keep the hammer down and we'll see you at the
track!

TIMTERRYONLINE.COM ON THE N-ER-G HOUR
If you caught
Tuesday night's episode of the N-Er-G Hour on 95.7 The Wolf in
Fredericton or on the web at
www.n-er-ghour.com, you heard yours truly on the air with Nick and
Geoff talking some sim and local racing. Take some time to head to
their website and check out some archives of their shows and remember
to listen in Tuesday nights, 8pm Atlantic/7pm Eastern. Tell them that
Tim from TimTerryOnline.com sent you over!
Also check above
for the latest "Sim" Corner along with new articles to appear this
week on the CARQUEST Pro Stock Tour website - which can be found to
the left in the "Tim's Corner" page.
This is scheduled
to be a busy weekend as we have two nights of racing set to go at
Scotia Speedworld. First up, the Weekly Racing Series takes to the
track Friday night for the Inside Track Magazine Shootout at 7pm. The
following day it is the CARQUEST Tour getting the first green flag of
the season in the Lucas Oil 100. Atlantic Tiltload Time Trials go at
3:10pm with racing at 4pm. You do not want to miss it!

TIM'S "SIM" CORNER
DEBUTS ON MONDAY
The Maritime's
favorite weekly racing article is coming to the world of sim racing!
That's right,
starting Monday, Tim's Corner will be launching a new "Sim Racing"
article, focusing on the events running on broadcasted networks like
RLMtv and WRN along with events and milestones that get my wheels
turning!
Be here Monday to
see it - only on TimTerryOnline.com!
TIMTERRYONLINE.COM LAUNCHES NEW SITE
The brand new
stock car season in Atlantic Canada is here - which brings a facelift
to TimTerryOnline.com! We're taking a step back while taking a step
forward if it makes any sense. While the PostNuke website was
different and easy on the eyes it was a mind-boggling experience for a
guy like myself. Going back to a website like this one makes my work a
bit easier and keeps the website manageable from a viewer and an
editor standpoint. As we re-build for the 2010 season bear with us! I
will be providing my opinions on what is going on in the racing world
(stock car and simulation) along with keeping up (or attempting to)
with my winter hobby - collecting sports cards and memorabilia. You'll
also be able to get a sneak peek of Tim's Corner articles, my columns
on MaritimeProStockTour.com and ScotiaSpeedworld.ca!
If you have any
questions or comments - feel free to email me! I'd love to know what
you think of the new page.
Until the next time
we meet - keep the hammer down and I'll see you at the track!
