With the releasing of the 2010 schedules from Scotia Speedworld and the CARQUEST Maritime Pro Stock Tour, my schedule has been set for my summer weekends from mid-May to mid-September! I ended up diggin' the wheel out tonight to race at 3unit.ca. They were running at Race City, a track where I finished 3rd last season at S1Motorsports.com in the RacingTrader.ca Late Model. I practiced 6th and 8th in the two sessions, not bad considering I had about 20 minutes of track time with this car and the blistering fast guys were only about 3/10th's ahead of me in times.

Hey everyone!

The season is quickly winding down here in the Maritimes :[. But, don't worry, we still have events around here that stretch into the middle of October! Once again, I plan on heading up to the Atlantic Canadian Stock Car Championships on Thanksgiving Day Weekend outside Shediac, N.B. to the Centre for Speed! Pro Stocks, Sportsmans Legends, AOWs, 4-cylinders and Street Stocks take to CFS on October 10th and 11th for the final big stock car event in NB!

Then, October 17th I will be heading to Lake Doucette Motor Speedway outside of Yarmouth, N.S. for the Murray GM Sportsman 150! The Sportsman boys and girls will be gunning for the checkers in the $1000 to win event along with support from the Thunder, Lightning and Outlaw boys! It's gonna be a big day, you will not wanna miss it!

Halifax Sports Cards and Collectible Shows:
March 21st - 9am to 1pm
April 25th - 9am to 1pm

Truro Flea Market Dates:
March 29th - 10am to 2pm
April 5th - 10am to 2pm
April 12th - 10am to 2pm
April 19tth - 10am to 2pm
April 26th - 10am to 2pm (This is tentative, Speed Sport East is the same weekend)
May 3rd - 10am to 2pm

The CARQUEST Pro Stock Tour is pleased to officially announce that Tim Terry will be taking over the mic as the voice of the Pro Stock Tour. Tim started his announcing career calling races online using video game simulations in 2004. In 2005 Tim and his crew at the Sim Racing Network landed the DMP-Racing league – a series started and frequented by NASCAR superstar Dale Earnhardt Jr. The DMP-Racing league is also frequented by other NASCAR stars including; Martin Truex Jr., Denny Hamlin, and Brad Keselowski. Branching out from the online world, Tim moved to the thrill of live stock car racing in 2007 when he joined the team at Scotia Speedworld. Joining Tim on the Tour is roving reporter Mike Kaplan who again will bring us Reports from the Pits.

The last time I raced Manasas in the Aero88's, I had been sent fifty feet in the air, flipping with two laps to go while running second. Previously I had scored two Aero88 and one Truck win at the track. Tonight, I had started sixth on a ten car field and following green flag pit stops with twenty to go, I had led the field. I went to the back with five laps to go, hoping to mount a charge - only for two drivers to wreck out of turn four coming to the white (ala the last Aero88 car @ Manasas), leading to me finishing second behind George Newman.

I'll look for my revenge on Sunday as the trucks hit Manasas!
